Umpiring

Please Note that when a team is put down to umpire it is preferred that a member of that team performs the umpiring duties. Please ask your club to help if you require assistance at umpire.

Umpires for U15G and U16B are to be senoir non-coaching staff where possible. All junior umpires are to be assisted by senior umpires when necessary.

All umpires are required to PRINT their names on the results cards.

Anyone wanting to umpire this season both players and non players please leave you name with Carl or Sandra on Saturday.

Under 7's and Under 9's

1. Development Days will be occurring once every 4 weeks starting Sunday 30th March on Turf

2. FORMAT

9am Under 7's - Skills session and game. Will be a little different. We are trialling a system which is having alot of success in another sport and in Europe. All under 7's will come together to learn skills and play smaller games (3/4 a side) with mixed teams from different clubs. So clubs don't have to have a full complement of 6 players to make a team. They will still wear their club uniform but will wear bibs for the games. On Game Days - They will continue this system on game days.

10am Under 9's - Skills session and game - Will be a similar format to last year.
On Game Days - There will be a draw. They will play their normal 8-a-side games across field.

Notice to all Under 13 Girls
Any girls who are interested in playing in a Tweed Border Rep team squard to play in the 13 boys comp on Friday nights on the turf at 5pm or 6pm please contact Margie Coleman on 0413622950
