Senior Games have been moved due to wet weather

Under 13 Boys Team Known as Murwillumbah will be called Redbacks
Under 13 Girls Redbacks are unable to field a Teams so this Kingscliff who had a bye will now play Waratahs at 10am see updated draw
Under 11 Girls Red_Rocket will play Cas_Black at 11am and Kin_Snapper will play Cas_Aqua at 11am see updated draw

Minkey Under 7 and Modified Under 9 Minkey
All teams to turn up at 9am. We will have a small coaching drill for 7 minutes and then games at 9.10am This coaching drill will be arranged by Mathew Bartell and all coaches will be needed for this to work.
At the completion of the games Richard Philip will be asking all teams and coaches a few questions. We have noticed that a few clubs have a few smaller younger players who don't seem to get involved to much.
To let them enjoy themselves I will be asking you what about if you have 5 players for Minkey and then 3 or 4 of these smaller players in another team and they play against clubs with smaller children as well. I am hoping we can get 3 or 4 smaller teams.

Draw for Minkey this week
Minkey Under 7 years of age All games at Casuarina and at 9.10am Five players only on the field at once. We won't all children to play with the ball. To many players won't let this happen. If you have to many players you can nominate new teams when ever you wish, just let us know.

Fields for Minkey are 25 meters wide and 50 meters long. So you can get 4 fields on one hockey field.

Eight players on the field at once and spread out Field size is 50 meters x 50 meters so you will need three fields and if you have nets lets use them

We will be having development days every 5 weeks which is about 3 per year. Towards the end of the year we are hoping to let the Modified play on a full field.

Western Australian School Boys Team
On Thursday the 24th of April a Western Australian School Boys team will be touring and our Under 15 boys Rep team will be playing these boys at 4.45pm. So we are hoping we can get a lot of supporters their to cheer our young champions along

Over 35 Mens Rep Team
Our Over 35 mens and over 55 mens rep teams will be playing in State championships at Murwillumbah on the 18th,19th,20th of April. Our 55 men are organised but our 35 men are not just yet. We are still looking for a few more players. The players in the team so far. Doug Worthing, Peter Richards, Shaun Preist, Brian Booth, Brett O'Keeffe, Sean Read, John Thompson, Gavin Aurther, Peter Toovey, Peter Parsons, Tony Hankinson, Mathew Bartell, Nevile Newell, John Traves, Ray Dooley.
All players are asked to be at the grounds at 4.00pm Friday 18th of April to help set up and get prepared for your first game. Any player who can't make it know please let us know this weekend, if not see you Friday the 18th.

Under 18 Girls
U18 girls wishing to try out for the Rep team to participate at the Championships in Toowoomba this year, are to have their name and date of birth into the office by the 21st of April.

Umpiring
Please Note that when a team is put down to umpire it is preferred that a member of that team performs the umpiring duties. Please ask your club to help if you require assistance at umpire.
Umpires for U15G and U16B are to be senoir non-coaching staff where possible. All junior umpires are to be assisted by senior umpires when necessary.
All umpires are required to PRINT their names on the results cards. Anyone wanting to umpire this season both players and non players please leave you name with Carl or Sandra on Saturday.
