State Champs

We held the QLD State Championships for Over 35 and 55 men. Thanks to Denis, Sylvia and team, Kath and Ray for all your help.
Our 35's finished 3rd and all enjoyed themselves and hopefully they will be all back next year. The 55's finished 3rd as well and were unlucky not to play in the grand final. Bob Tindale and Noel Condon were selected in the QLD over 65 teams. Rick Hewitson was player of the tournament for over 55's. Most pleasing was that Garry Scholes, Ray Dooley, Brian Springfield were rewarded Advanced Umpiring badges and Carl Johnston maintained his Senior Badge, Well done men it's great to see we have some very good umpires around. Also Paul Newman umpired a couple of games and is now going to the Over 40 Men QLD state champs. Good to see you back Paul
