Notes for 1 June 2008

All umpires and interested parties are invited to an umpires discussion
meeting at the Tweed Border Club House on Saturday at 12 noon.
All current umpires are encouraged to attend

Summer Hockey is on.
We are playing Summer Hockey 08/09
Mixed Teams of six a side.
Under 13 and Under 16 and Seniors (3 males on the field at any time)
(must be 10 years old and over for Under 13's and must be 13 years old and
over to play in seniors comp.)
Tuesday afternoons for juniors starting at 4:30pm and Tuesday evenings for
seniors starting at 6:30pm.
Starting 21 October There will be a full season draw with your umpiring
duties, canteen, sausage sizzle and more, Just get 6 or so mates together
and enter a team for this new fantastic clean fast comp. To register your

with contact person and phone number by 10 October

Under 7's and Under 9's Sunday August 17th at Murwillumbah on Turf Last Game
and Break Up Party with presentation

Sunday the 17th of August on the International Artificial Hockey Turf at
Murwillumbah ( the same field they will be playing on at the Olympics
Play your last games. Coaches will receive 2 tickets per player which
provide each player with a FREE sausage sizzle and drink. They can use these
tickets when ever they wish to from 9.30am to 11.30am
During the entire morning from 9.00am to 12.00 noon their will be a FREE
Jumping castle for all children who are at hockey this wonderful morning.
After their games we wish to gather all teams on the field for an orgainised
March past. Can each team have a team name to carry around.
Teams meet on field at 11.00am and we march at 11.15am
At completion of March past all teams remain on field in an orgainised
manner and every player will receive a FREE Pennant, Drink, and Packet of
chips
The day and year is over at 12.oo noon. See you all next year for a bigger
and better year
